Summerlin South is absolutely booming. Fortunately, the location is close to the 215 Beltway, making the location extremely convenient. Summerlin South is newer and still being developed. The homes are at the mountains and mostly built in a contemporary style. Parks are lovely, schools are open, and Wet-n-Wild is a neighbor.
Most every home in Summerlin South is “smart”, built with high technology features and building materials. The area just west of Summerlin is already developed with stores and restaurants. Larger department stores and medical are very convenient.
Summerlin South is the association name Summerlin used. It became one of 2 areas that Realtors use to search for homes within Summerlin. Summerlin the Largest Master Planned Community in the U.S. We separated Summerlin into two separate searches and pages to eliminate confusion. The dividing line we use between Summerlin South and North is Charleston Blvd.
Housing prices for Summerlin in 2020 range from the low $300,000s to more than $16 million. There are currently 2 communities within Summerlin with vacant land for sale to build a custom house on.
There are also many other areas of town with vacant land to build a fully custom home that will accommodate horses, animals, and outbuildings. Summerlin has reasonable CCR’s, but no horses or livestock are allowed.
Having built our first custom home in Summerlin in 1999 and sold others, we are very familiar with the process and know many builders.
