Wimbledon is not new. However, you cannot beat the value and location. The Wimbleton Tower was built in 1975 and has gone through many management companies and ownerships. Each owner comes in and modernizes the outside and common areas, so it’s still looking good.
Since Wimbledon consists of condominiums ranging from 1000-1500 square feet, the prices start at under $150,000. This could be the most reasonably priced property in Las Vegas. Because people want newness, it is often overlooked by tourists, but students notice it.
A 2 bedroom unit rents for almost $1300. Do the math, and you’ll discover that it’s a good deal. Rents may be higher because they cater to students and can charge higher rents. Walking to UNLV every day is worth paying a little more for.
The Location of Wimbledon
Wimbledon has a great location. Located near both the Hughes Financial Center and UNLV, for an off-strip building, the location rocks. Many units are sold furnished when there is an available place. It makes sense for parents to buy their UNLV student a condo to live in for 4 years, so look when schools out. The greatness comes because there are residents that have lived there for decades.
The pool and spa are very spacious, and the shining star of the complex is the tennis courts. There is a community laundry room, and some units have their own washer and dryer. Being near the college, you can walk to anything you want to eat and even to the Atomic Testing Museum.
Wimbledon Tennis Club is an excellent choice for economical housing where the location is dynamite. You’ll have the convenience of modern amenities, and, as its name implies, Wimbledon features world-class tennis courts along with other luxury features. Located minutes from the strip, it offers the convenience of being near the strip but in a much quieter atmosphere.
Wimbledon is also near McCarran International Airport. Additional features include a pool and spa, billiard and game room, covered parking, 24-hour security, and concierge service. Priced from the mid $100’s, you don’t have to spend big to live high.
